Here's Ray Rice Dragging His Unconscious Fiancée Out Of An Elevator
From TMZ comes this bit of security cam footage of the aftermath of the altercation that occurred between Ray Rice and his fiancée in Atlantic City, N.J., last weekend. According to TMZ, that's Rice dragging his fiancée, who appears to be unconscious, out of an elevator in a hotel lobby.
This video seems to support the version of the story that we got from a witness at the hotel, who told us that Rice knocked his fiancée unconscious after she spit on him. Another witness later told us that they saw Rice dragging his fiancée out of the elevator, just like in the video above. The Baltimore Sun, which broke the story, had one of Rice's lawyers describing the incident as a "very minor physical altercation," which looks now like a fairly insupportable claim.
TMZ reached out to Rice's attorney for comment, who gave them the following statement:
However, the video that's being posted by TMZ Sports is not the complete event, but is merely the end result of what transpired. We'll assure the public that when this matter is fully tried and completed, you'll have a better understanding of what happened and we ask the public to reserve making any judgment until all of the facts come out.
