Here's Video Of Critics Of The Guy Who Sold The Sonics To Oklahoma City Getting Thrown Out Of A Costco
Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz went to the Costco in Issaquah, Wash. yesterday to autograph copies of his book "Onward: How Starbucks Fought for Its Life Without Losing Its Soul." Fans of the late Seattle SuperSonics found this ironic, since they consider letting their beloved basketball team leave nothing less than soullessness.
Adam Brown, who produced the 2009 documentary " Sonicsgate," brought a camera. He caught a fellow approaching the guy who left them franchise-less, declaring, "You betrayed the city of Seattle ... you piece of shit. You betrayed the entire city. How do you show your face around here?" Dude who sold the team off to investors from Oklahoma City in 2006 just smirks about it, too.
Then, Brown and his Sonics lid got tossed out, too.
Welcome to Costco. They love you, unless a really rich guy tells them not to.
