Luis Suárez Given Ten Match Ban In Order To Chew Over What He's Done
Liverpool striker Luis Suárez earned a ten-match ban for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanović during Sunday's match at Anfield.
Highlights from the FA's statement:
A three-person Independent Regulatory Commission today upheld The FA’s claim that a suspension of three matches was clearly insufficient and the player will serve a further seven first-team matches in addition to the standard three. The suspension begins with immediate effect.
...OK, those weren't really highlights at all. That was boilerplate legalese. Either way, Suárez has until Friday to appeal his suspension.
