Iman Shumpert Releases New Track, And It's Good

Kendrick Lamar may have put a stranglehold on the rap industry last night, but he wasn't the only one to drop a new verse. Knicks forward and sometimes-rapper Iman Shumpert released "Versace (Freestyle)," and it happens to be very good.

OK, so you're not going to hear this song on Hot 97 anytime soon, but Shumpert's rhymes are far better than anything other NBA players have given us. His Knicks anthem is fun, and this track right here is a legitimately good song:

Iman Shumpert may never be an all-star player, but he has a damn good shot at becoming the best rapper in NBA history.
