Jim Boeheim Called Andy Katz An Idiot And A Disloyal Person

Jim Boeheim has the unique ability to sound both bored and like a complete dickhead all at the same time. And he did it tonight all over Andy Katz's face. Uconn beat Boeheim's squad 66-58 and after the game Boeheim said in his press conference to Katz: "I'll answer anybody's question but yours, because you're an idiot and really a disloyal person. I have a few other things I could add, but I'm not gonna go there."

Boeheim has a history of going after people in his press conferences, whether it's local reporters, or ex- NBA stars, he's kind of a dick to a lot of people and he's called a lot of them idiots.

It's unclear what Boeheim is talking about with respect to Katz's idiocy and disloyalty, but it could go back to this November 29, 2011 story he did about the Syracuse program. Katz touches on a number of issues including the Bernie Fine scandal and the strained relationship between his family and the Fines. The overall feel of the piece could also have been interpreted by Boeheim so as to paint him as a hands off guy with a lax attitude when it comes to his staff and ultimately the program.

Or it could just be it was Andy Katz's turn.
