Kicker Punches Out Bouncer, Nailed With Felony
This image was lost some time after publication. It's not every day an NFL kicker is charged with a felony that doesn't involve the date-rape drug, but hey, these are heady times. Chiefs booter Lawrence Tynes was arrested yesterday for breaking the nose of a bouncer in a bar fight. That's impressive, not just because we didn't know kickers knew how to use their hands, but because in Wisconsin it's a felony to break someone's nose. (This is why we never hung out with a certain ex-girlfriend in Wisconsin; she'd have been in jail in a week.) Tynes' teammates have taken to calling him "Killer." We're gonna avoid a Ray Lewis joke.
