Kyle Schwarber Has Not Been Cleared To Play In The Field
[object Object] Well, goddamn it, our big brawny boy got some bad news today. After playing hero in the first two games of the World Series, Cubs slugger Kyle Schwarber was informed by doctors today that his surgically repaired knee is still not healthy enough for him to play in the field.
This is unfortunate, because it means our chances of seeing the big boy put another dinger on top of the Wrigley video board at some point over the course of the next three games depend on him being summoned as a pinch hitter. Then again, coming off the bench in a high-leverage situation and socking one right out of the damn yard would go a long way towards making him a World Series legend. Go out there and do it, Kyle!
