Lamar Odom Rants At TMZ Cameraman: "Y'all Have Discredited Me, Beat Me Down" 

To be completely honest, I’m not quite sure what to think about this video of a TMZ cameraman being talked at by Lamar Odom.

Part of me just feels sad. Sad that Lamar Odom is raving at a camera, sad that he feels TMZ beat him down and took his confidence, sad that he clearly didn’t realize what a gossip media maelstrom he was placing himself into by marrying Khloé Kardashian, sad about how abruptly his career fell off after the David Stern-vetoed trade that was to send him to New Orleans.

But maybe that’s the wrong way of looking at it. All of those things occurred in the past, and Odom specifically tells the cameraman “you will not do it again.” Maybe, after some tough years that included a divorce and pleading no contest to drunk driving charges, Odom is in control of his life. Maybe this was just catharsis, and everything is right in Odom’s world.

I just know that he was a fun basketball player who always came across as sensitive and thoughtful, and I hope he’s happy.
