Third-stringer Greg McElroy went 24-3 at Alabama. (We're excluding Drew Stanton from this sample because he is a loser, and because Tebow's arrival might herald Stanton's eventual release.) That's an overall record of 73-11, a winning percentage of .869. In the NFL, that translates to a record between 13-3 and 14-2 every year. Are you not impressed by that? This is a quarterback's league, and there the Jets are made of proven winners, end of story.
