Michael Jordan While Signing An Autograph For Obama: Pfffffft, Fuck It

Okay, so there is no way to know for sure whether, "Pffffft, fuck it," is what Michael Jordan said to himself while misspelling Barack Obama's name on a birthday present for the goddamn President of the United States, but you wouldn't put it past him, would you?

First, the backstory, from t his profile of David Axelrod in New York Magazine:

There's also a napkin signed by JFK, a letter from the newly elected Abraham Lincoln to the Chicago mayor's son, and a signed poster of Michael Jordan. "When the president turned 50, I wanted to get him something special … so I sent it to Jordan to have him sign it for me." In black Sharpie, Jordan scrawled, "To Barrack: you still owe me dinner. Wishing you well, Michael Jordan."

"Is it B-A-R-O-C-K? Or is it with an A? Lemme see here... [writes "Barrack"] Yeah, that looks good, I think. Or is it with just one R? Pffffft, fuck it."

You can't convince me this didn't happen.
