Mike Milbury And Jeremy Roenick Nearly Came To Blows On NBC Sports Tonight
A discussion of rough play in the NHL appeared to approach violence itself as hockey dad Mike Milbury and analyst Jeremy Roenick engaged in a heated argument live on NBC Sports Network.
The kettle had been under pressure for a few minutes before boiling over into a mess of insults and comebacks. Milbury even appeared to kick Roenick off the show—perhaps permanently? Both men, at one point, clench their fists in apparent preparation for a physical altercation. Bill Patrick tried valiantly to cool the pair down, to no avail. But, then, with NBC Sports ratings in a nosedive, maybe some animosity is what the network needs—if only to get people talking about it.
