Monday Night And Tuesday Morning Football
This image was lost some time after publication. You know, we watched football all day yesterday, and it absolutely wore us out. As great as it is, that's a lot of football. But imagine that actually starting at night.
That's what we get tonight, with a rather unfathomable NFL "Monday Night Football" doubleheader. You know, we have to say, if Tony Kornheiser really took his job seriously, he'd broadcast BOTH games. Lazy candy ass.
The two games tonight — as is the custom this season — aren't necessarily the most compelling games of the week, particularly if Clinton Portis doesn't play for Washington and Jeff George doesn't play for Oakland. But there will be football going on until 1:30 a.m. ET tonight, and that's really kind of amazing, and absolutely unprecedented.
The first game is still Kornheiser, Joe Theisman and Hands Tirico, while the second game is the odd team of Brad Nessler, Ron Jaworski and ... Dick Vermeil!
We're gonna try to make it through both games ... but we have to get up early tomorrow. Enjoy.
