Mookie Betts On Fly Ball While Chatting With ESPN: “I Ain’t Getting This One, Boys”
credits: ESPN Mookie Betts chatted with the ESPN announcing crew during the top half of the third inning in a spring training game today. Hey, it’s an exhibition game.
It was actually pretty interesting! Betts talked about his perfect game in the World Series of Bowling last year, and also chatted about his golf game. He even demonstrated his golf swing in the outfield between pitches.
The real magic took place when Betts was discussing bowling. Kris Bryant hit one over Betts’ head and into the right field corner. Betts interrupted his bowling story to say, “I ain’t getting this one, boys.”
Bryant legged it out for a triple, but the Red Sox got out of it without any runs scoring. The regular season is just days away, but hopefully Betts will get to chat with a broadcast crew in-game again one day.
