The golden boy goes down! Tom Brady is taken off the field early in the first quarter of the Kansas City/England game with a knee injury. Career backup QB Matt Cassel took over and after a rough start, looked really decent connecting with Randy Moss on a 10 yard touchdown pass . There's no word yet on Brady's injury but we'll keep you posted. For now, the entire New England area is on suicide watch. • Lions/Falcons: Michael Turner is tearing the field up with 135 yards and 2 touchdowns in the first half. Kitna had a mini explosion on the sideline, being all yelly and redfaced. No word yet on whether was yelling at God. The Falcons are up 21-13. • Jets/Dolphins: I hate to say it but Brett Favre is looking like a youngster out there. A couple of classic Favre touchdown passes. Aside from a sack by Porter, Jets fans should be pretty excited right about now. Except for the fact that they're playing without a kicker. You should be a little concerned about that. Jets lead at halftime 13-7. • Texans/Steelers: The Steelers aren't messing around. Willie Parker has two touchdown runs and Roethlisberger connected with Hines Ward on a 13 yard TD pass. Each team has a turnover on bad plays by both QB's. Steelers are up 21-3. • Rams/Eagles: McNabb is looking to quell the critics with 274 passing yards and 3 touchdowns in the first half. The three touchdowns were split between Baskett, Smith, and Westbrook showing that the Eagles are rolling deep today. The Eagles lead 21-0 going into the second half. Additional notes: Roscoe Parrish had an unreal punt return for a touchdown. Stephen Jackson took a hit that would have made most men cry and then popped right back up. I love the Red Zone Channel.
