There's an article floating around—mainly on Facebook, but also on Twitter—claiming that Aaron Hernandez was found not guilty of all charges, and will play for the Patriots next season. It is a hoax. A surprising amount of people have believed it.
Here's the article. It's on one of those satire sites that doesn't do satire well, causing people to believe the fake news. There aren't even any jokes in the text. It's just a misleading story. And yet, approximately 19,000 people have shared it on Facebook.
Anyway, jury selection for Hernandez's first murder case begins in January.
