Report: Kirk Cousins Plans To Go Cheerfully Shout At Vikings Fans For Three Years
credits: Patrick Smith | source: [object Object] Erstwhile Washington QB Kirk Cousins has agreed to head to Minnesota on a fully guaranteed three-year deal, per Adam Schefter. Free agency opens Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. ET, and Cousins plans to sign the day after.
The mutual interest between the Vikings and Cousins hasn’t been a secret, as the QB traveled to Minnesota on his first visit of free agency, the Vikings swung big to try and woo him, and Cousins’s personal blog accidentally tagged “Vikings” in his farewell post. ESPN reports that the contract will be three years for $84 million. So that’s what the best available QB with the most leverage can get in the NFL market.
