Texas A & M Comeback Thwarted By Missed Offside Call
Kyle Allen's attempt to lead the Aggies to a Thanksgiving Night comeback against LSU ended when he threw an interception on what should have been a free play due to the Tigers committing offside—and SEC officials missing the call.
It's tough to work up too much outrage over this given how incapable Texas A & M was of stopping LSU's rushing attack all game, but Allen's pass on this play was almost certainly made with the assumption that it was a free play; after all, the LSU defensive lineman's head was directly in front of him as he received the snap.
