The Future Of Sports Can Be Found On Google Patents

Using the invaluable Google Patent Search, the fine folks at Winning The Turnover Battle have dug up the most intriguing and odd sports patents making their way through the wacky inventors pipeline. Our favorite, the No Hang Basketball Net, is pictured.

This is an urgently needed invention. Thousands of dunkers are hurt every year by submitting to the temptation of hanging on the net. Putting a dreamcatcher on the hoop will stop those whipper-snappers for sure.

Also included are the Baseball Bat Urn, the Football Launcher and, amazingly, the Propeller Powered Football. Rex Grossman could totally use one of those.
