There Was A Snake In The Blazers' Locker Room Before Tonight's Game
The Portland Trail Blazers discovered an unpleasant surprise in the AT&T Center locker room before Game 2 against the Spurs.
Thomas Robinson opened his locker to find a snake wriggling around, leading Mo Williams to Instagram it, obviously. Was it an intimidation move from Gregg Popovich? (That would be the best/most sensational explanation!)
The type of snake is up for debate. The AP reported the reptile as a baby rattlesnake, but the Spurs' PR chief was adamant that it wasn't a rattlesnake. Williams's photos don't really show the tail, so amateur snake enthusiasts are welcome to figure it out.
No one was bit, and the snake was removed.
