This Is The Coolest Volleyball Play We've Ever Seen
We heard about this when it happened two days ago, but it took awhile to track down the video. When we finally saw it, it was a shock. Who knew you were allowed to kick the ball in volleyball?
As it turns out, the rules say you can use any body part—from your arms to your feet to your head. V-ballers generally stick with their hands whenever possible, but this move (known as a foot dig) is a legal, if rare, maneuver. So here's Brazilian libero Fabiana de Oliveira making the most of her feet; it was to no avail, alas, as South Korea swept Brazil with a major 3-0 upset. [BBC]
