At the end of the game, Eli Manning took a knee to run out the clock and end the game. The Tampa Bay defense pushed hard and knocked Eli over. Manning thought it was a cheap shot.
Tom Coughlin and the Giants think the "call" to try and tackle a football player during a football game came directly from Tampa Bay head coach Greg Schiano. So, at the end-of-game-handshake, Coughlin went off on Schiano.
Schiano addressed the dispute at his post game press conference.
"I don't know if that's not something that's done in the National Football League," Schiano said. "What I do with our football team is that we fight until they tell us game over. And there's nothing dirty about it, there's nothing illegal about it. We crowd the ball like a sneak defense and try to knock it loose.
