Heavily-armed assailants stormed the Berlin's Grand Hyatt hotel, which was hosting a live televised poker tournament and made off with an untold amount of money. Wow. That was an exciting sentence to write. Thanks to tipster Wisky_and_Coke.
Witnesses are reporting that the world's most impatient poker players were armed with automatic weapons, machetes and hand grenades. The event, put on by the European Poker Tour, will continue later this afternoon. Although tennis great Boris Becker and almost everybody else, won't be back.
