Who Were The Tallest Athletes In History?

As part of the new collection Sportographica, the chart above shows the tallest players in history by sport/league/discipline. While there isn't a regular-sized human in there to give you context, consider this: If you stacked all these professional athletes on top of each others, the pile would stretch ALL THE WAY TO THE MOON.*

Overall, the collection is a little, well, infographic-ey, but we actually like this one! I was surprised that MLB has never had a single seven-footer, given that it would be pretty advantageous for pitching and wouldn't come with any real mobility downsides (as it would in a sport like hockey). Plus, any graphic that gets you googling Edouard Beaupré is a good graphic.
