Cincinnati Reds reliever Jonathan Broxton started his matchup against Yoenis Cespedes in the eighth last night by whizzing a fastball up near his chin. Broxton ended up paying dearly for it.

Cespedes took Broxton's next offering—which wasn't placed well anyway—deep past the center-field wall for a two-run homer and a 3-2 Red Sox lead.

So, there's a nice lesson: Don't brush back Yoenis Cespedes.
