Your Divisional Playoffs Open Thread

Seattle at Atlanta 1:00 p.m. (FOX): Well, it's put up or shut up for the "Falcons stink in the playoffs" narrative. It really could not have shaken out any worse for them, though, as the white-hot Seattle Seahawks come into town. While Atlanta was winding down the season, securing the top seed in the NFC and relaxing last week, Seattle was fighting to get in the playoffs. They then beat the Redskins on the road and kept the ball rolling and now Atlanta has to start things up again. Good luck.

Houston at New England 4:30 p.m. (CBS): The last time we saw these two teams—well, we only saw the Patriots. Let's see if Houston can switch it up this time, huh? In bad for the Texans but good for fiesta news, Gronk will be back today and Gronk is no Dan Shaughnessy:

"That's definitely crazy, they're a very good team," said Gronkowski. "They've got very good players and they're going to be bringing it coming into here. We've got to be prepared to the best of our abilities because if we're not, it could go ugly. We have to be ready and we have to be prepared."

This kind of pandering "Oh yeah, they're a good team. Seriously, I am being totally serious right now. No, totally not laughing" quote should be just as infuriating as the Shaughnessy troll piece. If there is any justice in the world, the Texans will come out and smoke the Pats and then we'll have to watch Matt Schaub face Joe Flacco in the AFC Championship and pretend the Super Bowl just isn't going to happen this year.
