Zach Mettenberger Fires Back At J.J. Watt, Is Now A Dead Man Walking
Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger sat down for an interview with CampusSports.net, and in the middle of answering standard questions about football or whatever, he signed his own death warrant.
You’ll recall that Mettenberger was dragged into a one-sided beef with Texans defensive end J.J. Watt last season after Watt mocked Mettenberger for taking a pregame selfie. At the time, Mettenberger wisely didn’t react, but he finally offered a response to Watt in the clip above:
J.J. had to say that it was a bit high school-ish to take selfies, and I think he still rags me on Instagram every time he posts a selfie. At the same time, if that’s high school-ish, he got a letterman’s jacket made—a Texans letterman’s jacket—that’s pretty high school-ish to me, don’t you say?
Dammit, Zach. You aren’t even wrong here—J.J. Watt is a dick—but have you forgotten about how crazy and self-serious he is?
A large man who unironically considers himself a lion living amongst sheep is not the kind of person you want to upset. We’ll pray for you, Zach.
