Confused Sideline Reporter Unable To Follow Game He's Covering
SkyTV's Chris Kamara had one job at this weekend's Portsmouth-Blackburn match: Watch the game. And maybe try to pay attention to what happens. He failed miserably on both counts.
Watch as "Soccer Saturday" studio host Jeff Stelling throws it out to Kamara for details about a red card booking—and Kamara is forced to confess he has no idea what the hell Stelling is talking about. He did notice a player leave the pitch, but assumed it was a normal substitution. A red card? No one told Chris about that! Hey, at least he figured how the scoreboard works.
So relax, Americans. There's no shame in admitting that you don't follow or understand soccer, because apparently even people who are paid to do it find it to be a daunting task. The rules are very confusing!
