Deadspin Is Looking For Fall Interns
Deadspin is looking for a few interns to work with us this fall.
If you love reading and writing, and know sports and Deadspin's style and content, we want you on board. You'll get to work in our plush SoHo office, where we will attempt to bestow upon you all of the necessary skills one needs to be a successful sports journalist. You'll report and research and write, and you'll have plenty of flexibility to determine what exactly you'll be doing.
You must live in the New York area and be able to come into the office at least two days per week. The internship will last about three months—we can be flexible with specific dates. Ideally, you would be able to receive college credit in exchange for your services, but if that's not an option, we can work something out.
If you're interested, please send an email to me ([email protected]) and Dickey ( [email protected]). In a couple of paragraphs, tell us about yourself and why you'd be a good fit for us. Give us one or two links to published pieces of writing. Paste your résumé as text into the body of the email, and tell us what your schedule for the fall might look like. No attachments, please. And don't be boring.
If we don't get back to you, please don't take it personally—we can't reply to everyone. But if you seem like a good fit, we'll be in touch.
