Don Cherry loves his fish. We know this, because back in January he went on a multi-Tweet rant about the little guys. One of them "[hadn't] been acting right for a month, swimming sideways at the top," and Don was worried. So he "[wondered] if he would like warm water." A little warm water in the tank, and the fish was back to normal.
So we thought. Today Don updates us on his goldfish, and it seems one of them might be nearing the end of the line.
(These are 1000x funnier and sadder when you remember that Don doesn't Tweet himself, but phones them in to a CBC producer to Tweet for him.)
1. 5 years ago I went into a pet store to buy a goldfish. I saw 2 older fish in a small tank stuck in the plants. They couldn't move.— Don Cherry (@CoachsCornerCBC) March 12, 2013
2. I asked the guy "how come?" He said "somebody dropped them off they didn't want them anymore. I don't know what to do with them."— Don Cherry (@CoachsCornerCBC) March 12, 2013
3. I took them, the guy still charged me 60 bucks. I have a great 100 gallon tank and only 2 fish. They have really enjoyed life. They have— Don Cherry (@CoachsCornerCBC) March 12, 2013
4. Always been together. But I see one is now having a tough time and he's not swimming right. Kind of sad.— Don Cherry (@CoachsCornerCBC) March 12, 2013
Good morning. Don Cherry's fish is dying.
