Jack Edwards Mocks Peter Gammons, Makes Fart Noise During Bruins Game
We missed this from yesterday's Kings-Bruins game, but reader Zach helpfully pointed it out. Bruins play-by-play man Jack Edwards is probably one of the few announcers to use a Bronx cheer while calling a game.
After the Kings' Jordan Nolan checked Boston's Torey Krug into the boards, Milan Lucic picked a fight with Nolan. It was a solid match, but the highlight came after. Edwards got his parting shot before the break, asking, "What does Peter Gammons think of that?" (You see, Gammons wasn't too keen on hockey after watching Saturday's Flames-Canucks line brawl.) And then, the fart noise. Jack Edwards is such a homer, but he has his moments.
