Aaron Judge Fractured His Wrist But Stayed In Long Enough To Hit A Single
credits: MLB.com Aaron Judge got plunked by a fastball up and in on Thursday, suffering a “chip fracture” on his right wrist. He will be out a minimum of three weeks, according to the Yankees.
The more ridiculous part, though, is that he stayed in the game for three innings after his injury, long enough to A) reach third on a Didi Gregorious double, B) score on a sacrifice fly, and C) come to bat again, in the third inning, and rope a single. Aaron Judge might be out until mid-August at the very minimum, but the dude still amazes, even when he’s got a fucked-up dominant hand.
