Allen Iverson On The Sixers: “I Love My Little Dudes, They’re My Little Guys, I Love Them”

The Sixers are playing the Hornets tonight, and NBC Sports Philadelphia wrangled Allen Iverson for a courtside interview in which you could see Joel Embiid reflected in his sunglasses. The magic of television!

Iverson, who calls the Sixers “my little guys,” says he thinks they’ll make a run in the playoffs. He adds that he’s going to believe in the Sixers whether or not they’re actually any good.

The Sixers sideline reporter who did the interview, Molly Sullivan, had some words for anyone poking fun at Iverson’s very casual tone:
