But Wednesday's offering is must-reading for everyone, because Ken Griffey Jr. — in his farewell to baseball for this season — gives us the quote of the year. Men, we suggest wearing a cup before reading further. (But then, we always suggest that).

In describing the abdominal injury he suffered against the Giants on Tuesday, Griffey said: "The best way I can describe it is it felt like somebody bungee jumped off my right nut." Wow. Step off, George!
