Andy Murray Brings Great Britain A Championship At Wimbledon, Britain Says "That's Nice, But I Wanted A Rolex"
Great Britain's gold medal brigade continued today as Andy Murray, who just four weeks ago was thrashed on Centre Court by Roger Federer, defeated Fed in straight sets 6-2, 6-1, 6-4.
For British tennis fans starved for a Wimbledon champ, it was a bittersweet victory, like learning your spouse bought you a vintage Porsche only to discover they bought a 914. Still, it's awesome to see albeit heartbreaking for Federer, who long dreamed of Olympic gold—although he certainly didn't seem too into it today. Here's the call as it was heard by native Brits.
