But before you march back into the gloom, let the Chicago Cubs make you feel warm and fuzzy one last time.
Cubs players addressed fans at today’s victory parade, and it fell on young star Anthony Rizzo to introduce 39-year-old David Ross, who is affectionately called “grandpa” by his teammates and is retiring, to the crowd. Rizzo got a bit emotional:
