Bad Old Man Would Vote For Other Bad Old Man
Mike Ditka, a screaming bowl of sausage gravy, went on the radio yesterday and said that if the presidential election were to happen tomorrow, he would probably vote for Donald Trump, a racist haggis.
Trump and Ditka have previously said nice things about each other, but this is the first time Ditka has gotten close to an outright endorsement. Here’s what he had to say:
Does Donald do everything right? No. The people who hate him hate him, but the people like him because he says things that resonate with what they think, and whether you like it or not, that’s the way people think at times. So you know, if I were to vote tomorrow, I’d probably vote for Trump.
Ditka is the second ESPN personality this week to dish some political takes, following Curt Schilling’s assertion that Hillary Clinton should be “buried under a jail.” It looks like nobody is paying too much attention to that memo ESPN sent to the talent a few months ago, the one urging them all to refrain from making political comments.
