This here’s Sebastian Pol. He’s a forward for Chilean side Audax Italiano, and got very mad this weekend after his team lost, 4-1. How mad? Mad enough to jump into the stands and try to decapitate a spectator with his foot.

Pol was detained overnight, and has been provisionally banned from attending sporting events for 20 days, per Reuters. Upon his release, he apologized and explained that he was just trying to scare the fan:

“I’m really full of regret for this,” Pol told reporters at the police station, adding that the fan had insulted him. “I apologise to him profusely. I didn’t mean to strike him, I just wanted to frighten him. It’s something new that life has taught me.”

See? He was just getting into the spirit of Halloween. Let him go, I say.
