This here’s Sebastian Pol. He’s a forward for Chilean side Audax Italiano, and got very mad this weekend after his team lost, 4-1. How mad? Mad enough to jump into the stands and try to decapitate a spectator with his foot.

Pol was detained overnight, and has been provisionally banned from attending sporting events for 20 days, per . Upon his release, he apologized and explained that he was just trying to scare the fan:

“I’m really full of regret for this,” Pol told reporters at the police station, adding that the fan had insulted him. “I apologise to him profusely. I didn’t mean to strike him, I just wanted to frighten him. It’s something new that life has taught me.”

See? He was just getting into the spirit of Halloween. Let him go, I say.
