Bears' Ka'Deem Carey Loses His Helmet Decal After Tackle

Chicago Bears running back Ka’Deem Carey had one of the “C” decals knocked off his helmet on a hit by Packers linebacker Joe Thomas in today’s game.
Decals come off helmets most often when it’s hot out and the adhesive melts, but it’s 12 degrees Fahrenheit in Chicago, and feels like -2 degrees. We’re football fans, not scientists, but it probably doesn’t require a Bill Nye–type to guess that the adhesive was probably a little more stiff and crackable in that type of frigid weather.
Goodbye, little “C.” You’re free, now.
