Big Ben Says Trump Full Of Shit; Did Not Endorse, Will Not Speak At GOP Convention
Ben Roethlisberger is scrambling in the pocket as the Steelers quarterback denies Donald Trump after the Republican candidate claimed he had the Steelers quarterback’s endorsement and planned to have Big Ben speak at the GOP convention.
Trump told a Virginia audience Friday he planned to have Roethlisberger, Tom Brady, Dana White, and NASCAR chairman Brian France speak on his behalf at the Republican convention, and that he had the endorsement of each of them. Roethlisberger told the “he is staying out of politics and will not attend the GOP event.”
Trump further claimed the Big Ben endorsement at a Pittsburgh-area campaign rally on Friday, telling the crowd that the former Miami University star is “with us 100 percent.”
The Roethlisberger flap comes the same weekend boxing promoter Don King denied endorsing Trump after Trump claimed on Twitter that he had.
