If Donald Trump gets his way the GOP convention will feature Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, and Dana White speaking on the Republican nominee’s behalf rather than the usual string of politicians.
That’s according to the New York Times, which found Trump making the claims at a rally last night in Virginia.
He said he wanted to have them all address the convention, to be held next month in Cleveland, as examples of “winners,” rather than “these people, these politicians who are going to get up and speak and speak and speak.”

The Patriots quarterback calls Trump “a good friend,” and that “I support all my friends.” Trump, meanwhile, has declared himself “the least racist person.”
