Billy Hamilton is one of the very best defensive center fielders in baseball, and tonight he went all out to make one of his best catches of the season. He’s really fast, man. Fast enough to get asked jokingly about racing Usain Bolt, and fast enough to chase this Carlos Beltran hit down.

Statcast had his route efficiency at 97.2 percent and his top speed was 22 MPH. More importantly, they rated it a “great catch.”
