Bo Jackson Had To Explain Who He Was To This Dumb Child
Bo Jackson has been hanging out at the White Sox spring training facility this year, acting as an instructor and imparting wisdom on dumb young people. Today’s lessons was for Drake LaRoche, the teenaged son of White Sox first baseman Adam LaRoche, who needed a little crash course on who exactly Bo Jackson is.
You can’t really blame young Drake for not knowing who Bo is, as he wasn’t even born until Bo had been out of the league for almost 10 years. But you also can’t blame Jackson for perhaps getting a little fed up with the youngster—those friendly whacks on the cap seemed to convey a little bit of “Come on, you little dummy!”—for failing to recognize the greatest two-sport athlete in history. Hopefully Drake went home after that talk and spent some time watching Bo Jackson highlights on YouTube. He’ll be better off for it.
