Bo Nix, RJ Harvey lead Broncos to 5th straight win in rout of Cowboys

Mandatory Credit: Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images Bo Nix completed 19 of 29 passes for 247 yards, four touchdowns and one interception, and the Denver Broncos cruised to a 44-24 win over the visiting Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.
RJ Harvey had two rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown for Denver (6-2), which won its fifth game in a row. Troy Franklin had six catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns.
Dak Prescott completed 19 of 31 passes for 188 yards and two interceptions for Dallas (3-4-1). Javonte Williams rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns against his former team.
The Broncos jumped to a 27-10 lead at the half.
The Cowboys opened the scoring on a 24-yard field goal by Brandon Aubrey.
On the following drive, the Broncos grabbed a 7-3 lead. Harvey took a pitch left and weaved through defenders on his way to the end zone for a 40-yard touchdown.
The Broncos made it 14-3 with 3:04 remaining in the first quarter. Nix connected with Franklin for a 25-yard touchdown across the middle of the field.
The Cowboys pulled within 14-10 on Williams' 1-yard rushing score with 7:29 left in the half.
Denver answered with back-to-back touchdowns before the break. Harvey scored on a 1-yard run with 3:47 to go, and Pat Bryant caught a 24-yard touchdown pass with 39 seconds left.
Dallas cut the deficit to 27-17 on the opening possession of the second half. Williams punctuated the 13-play, 65-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown run.
Wil Lutz added a 42-yard field goal for the Broncos on the following drive.
Franklin increased Denver's lead to 37-17 early in the fourth quarter with his second receiving touchdown of the game. He caught a pass in the back of the end zone for a 7-yard score.
The rout continued as Harvey hauled in a 5-yard pass for his third touchdown of the game with 7:14 remaining. The play increased the Broncos' lead to 44-17.
The Cowboys put Joe Milton III in at quarterback in place of Prescott, and he promptly responded with a 35-yard touchdown to Jalen Tolbert to bring Dallas within 44-24.
