Boogs To Meet

We’ve got Boog news.

First, Little League World Series viewers were charmed by the presence of 12-year-old Jeffrey “Boog” Powell:

Then the A’s called up rookie Herschel “Boog” Powell, who last night hit his first career home run in Camden Yards. The ball apparently landed just a few feet away from a plaque commemorating his and Young Boogs’s namesake, former Orioles star John “Boog” Powell:

Middle Boog was pretty excited about hitting a home run in Old Boogs’s home, telling reporters after the game, “It didn’t seem real.” The fan who caught the ball was even kind enough to give it to Middle Boog:

With so many Boogs in the news, the only thing left to do is have all the Boogs get together. According to MLB.com reporter Jane Lee, that is exactly what is going to happen today:
