Boy, The Heat Sure Look Done Already
This image was lost some time after publication, but you can still view it [object Object] . As Free Darko pointed out, last night's Mavericks-Heat game was hardly one they'll be showing off on NBA TV in a week. The Mavericks dominated the whole way, and as little fun as it is to pronounce a series over before they even switch venues, it kind of looks like the Heat might be done.
This is also an indictment of the ridiculous 2-3-2 NBA Finals format, in place because the collected national media doesn't like to spend the extra cash to make the extra two flights a normal 2-2-1-1-1 would require. Not only do the Heat have to pull themselves together to win a game, they have to pull themselves together to win three in a row. Otherwise, they're have to win two in Dallas ... and that's not seeming particularly likely right now.
Which means Mark Cuban is not about to settle down anytime soon.
