Capitals Stand By Their Man ... Unless He's a Junkie

When Joshua Robertson was 18, the Washington Capitals picked him in the fifth round of the NHL draft. When he was 25, the Whitman (Mass.) Police rounded him up for an admittedly heroin-fueled burglary streak.
If this is to be a Josh Hamilton tale of up-and-down redemption, it ain't gonna happen in D.C.
Nate Ewell, a spokesman for the Washington Capitals, described Robertson on Friday as "a former draft pick who is no longer property of the Capitals."
Don't worry, Nate, I'll avoid using the "he shoots, he doesn't score" line.
