This is the pen-and-ink version of Sally Jenkins's or Rick Reilly's mea culpa eviscerations of Joe Paterno, knowing what we all know now about the late coach's role in Penn State's cover-up. Editorial cartoonist Rob Tornoe has updated his Philadelphia Inquirer cartoon from January, top, which showed Paterno getting a warm welcome from another coaching legend.
The new one indicated that Bear Bryant has also read the Freeh Report. As Tornoe writes, "Like Sandusky in prison, Paterno is now in a place that knows how to deal with people who allow children to be raped." Ouch, JoePa. You just got moded by a doodle.
