Taking a page from that thin volume known as Good Athlete Tweets, Chicharito has since shown off his nasty injury on Twitter for all of his followers to see [warning: this is mildly gross]:
I must admit, I’m a little concerned with the status of his surgery if the postoperative procedure was to line his wound with a bunch of the little band aids you’d use to cover a skinned knee.
