Chuck Pagano Gets Lost In Groundhog Day Metaphor During Press Conference
Somebody should check up on Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, who reacted to a question about how his team is faring its horrible season with a rant about Groundhog Day, Twitter, Sonny and Cher, and storms coming in off the coast of Africa.
Here’s the clip of Pagano responding to the question from his press conference earlier today, which was, “...at some point, do ever worry that this is going to become a mental issue for your players, because it’s kind of like Groundhog Day, over and over again?”
Are the Colts the “storm” getting pushed out to sea? Or are they the nor’easter that pushes away the hurricane? Was this part of the plot of Groundhog Day? Phil was a weatherman, but was there a hurricane coming off of the coast of Africa? What does this have to do with football?
