Connor McDavid Starts The Season By Humiliating The Flames
Codie McLachlan/ [object Object] Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid wasted no time in his team’s first game Wednesday, scoring every goal in a 3-0 opening night win against Calgary. One of them was an empty netter, but still, McDavid earned the hats:
McDavid scored his first goal by being in the right place at the right time; his second one was breathtaking. Check out how freaking fast he is!
McDavid was playing like this the whole game, even outside of the goals. Below is another instance of McDavid making pro-level defenders look like beer-league slowpokes, right at the start of the game. Only Flames goalie Mike Smith denied McDavid early glory.
It’s tougher if you live in America—NBC Sports only has the Oilers on three times this season—but watch Connor McDavid every chance you get.
